Giant, meat-eating new dinosaur species discovered in Argentina. By Kevin Yang




A recent hot topic is the discovery of a new meat eating dinosaur discovered in Argentina called the meraxes giga. This new species resembles the tyrannasourous rex. This discovery is significant due to how it shows that carnivore dinosaurs were evolving a lot with their skulls before their extinction.

1: Since they resembled t rex a lot were they really close cousins of them. 

2: How were they able to figure out it was a new species and not a deformed T rex.  

3: Did these dinosaurs compete with other famous carnivores for territory and if they did were they stronger?
