Clayton Kayira: Human Nerve cell in Rats brain
https://www.sciencenews.org/article/human-nerve-cell-rat-brain-organoi
This is a clump of a nervous cell inside a rat’s brain and was said to be able to thrive in a rat’s brain growing up to six times the size from standard nerves stored in dishes. This is a very interesting study as it shows the compatibility that human nerve cells have with rats and this can stir up many questions and experiments in the future.
what other animals can human nerve cells thrive in and what connections of a rat's brain and a humans nerves thrive in
Do the host connections change in any way from animal to animal
What could this mean for future science
